Aleph Building
Awarded with the Riba Award 2003 by the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects as Best Architectural Project in Latin America, and designed by London’s renowned Foster+Partners (its first project in the region), Faena Properties’ stunning Aleph Residences supplies sustainable standards and innovative use of space to become the heart of Buenos Aires’ rejuvenated port area.
Aleph Residences
As a tribute to another Buenos Aires icon, we named the apartment building the Aleph Residences after the short story by Jorge Luis Borges. In the story, the “aleph” is a point in the universe where all other points can be seen. Ceilings designed as traditional bovedillas, double-height living spaces, terraces, and open courtyards created a living masterpiece experience that enriched and nourished people’s lives.
”This project, which appears in what until recently was a virtually obscure, abandoned place, will emerge the light, the heart of centuries to come... we will see in this devastated place death transformed into a center of energy.”
